The MTV CardThe Challenge
Visa, Capital One and MTV were planning to launch the MTV Card, a credit card with no annual fee that would earn rewards points on every dollar spent. Cardholders would be able to redeem points for a variety of rewards including exclusive MTV experiences. Clock Four was entrusted with building the high-impact, co-branded microsite that would be instrumental in launching the card to MTV’s young demographic, a group having potentially little experience with managing credit.
The Solution
With such prominent and distinctive partners joining forces, Clock Four focused largely on facilitating efficient collaboration. During each phase of the project, we regularly brought all of the creative stakeholders together to refine designs, sharpen content and gather feedback.
Using our mobile and social networking experience, Clock Four designed a site that engages MTV’s target audience by blending the company’s iconic look and feel with that of a premier financial institution. In addition to educating visitors about the MTV card’s features and rewards, the site also offers easy access to an application form along with helpful financial information and links to additional Capital One resources that teach individuals the basics of building and maintaining good credit.
